This well-known company based in offices close to Dartford is looking to recruit an experienced administrator with an excellent record of accomplishment in sales co-ordination
Key Skills:-
· Excellent people skills
· Computer literate: MS Office including Word, Excel & PowerPoint
· Able communicator both written and verbal
· Distribution/Logistics experience
· Excellent negotiating and business development skills
· Pro-active and determined
Responsibilities
· Provide administration support to management team
· Prepare invitations and agenda for meetings, collate and prepare documentation for meetings
· Ensure documentation is stored correctly
· Select providers (price, quality and delivery)
· Evaluate performance of contractors and/or service providers
· Handle own correspondence
· Co-ordination of sales activities:- Support field sales by pro-active appointment making, develop client portfolio and increase customer loyalty
· Identify targets for canvassing and opportunities of development with customers
· Manage sales activities by phone i.e. cold calling programmes via telephone
· Prepare quotations
· Gather and analyses client requirements
· Record all client information and update database
· Proof read and check documentation for grammar and spelling mistakes
Essential Skills:
· Must have a Logistics, freight forwarding or Distribution background
· Proven sales background
· Excellent people skills
· Good verbal & written skills
· Ability to compose own correspondence
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: SHIPPING/FREIGHT FORWARDING EXPERIENCE. |
